Overview (About Client): Our client, an American Company, provides automated, cloud-based software for financial operations, and seeks an accomplished Brand Designer


Job Title: Brand Designer (100% REMOTE)

Location: REMOTE (US-based only)

Duration: 6 months+ Contract with high possibility of extension!!!


Pay Rate: $60/hr


Schedule:

  • 30 hours/week | 9 AM–5 PM PT/MT/ET
  • 100% Remote


Must-Have Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with Asana or other task management tools (preferred)
  • Motion design skills (After Effects or similar) are nice-to-have


Job Description:

Reporting to a Creative Director on the internal design team, the contract Designer is responsible for bringing the brand to life across marketing assets by using the BILL brand design system—including brand guidelines, style guides, and templates—to deliver high-bar design across digital campaigns, collateral, email marketing, event signage, swag, and more.

Designers use multiple creative and project management tools (Figma, Slack, Asana, various AI tools) to deliver high-bar design for predictable and/or repeated projects with general guidance from a creative lead and more detailed instructions for new or complex assignments. Designers seek needed information from creative leads and/or project managers, propose design approaches aligned with brand guidelines, and proactively manage workflows to deliver error-free, on-time work.


Responsibilities:

  • Work mostly independently through fast-paced creative workflows to deliver high-bar, impactful marketing assets
  • Partner with PMs and creative leads to understand briefs, evaluate and propose design solutions, iterate based on feedback, and finalize deliverables
  • Present creative work and rationale clearly to stakeholders, tailoring communication as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise and awareness of creative best practices
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and communicate status regularly to Project Managers
  • Maintain strong relationships with peers and partners, promoting positive collaboration
  • Continually elevate personal creative standards and contribute to raising the team’s creative bar


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Designer supporting brand or marketing teams
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze workflows and proactively manage tasks
  • Ability to seek information and propose design approaches aligned with brand guidelines


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with motion design (After Effects or similar)
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management platforms
