Job Description

UX Designer – Consultant (Enterprise Experience Team)

100% Remote | EST Work Hours | Supporting a Fortune 100 Enterprise Client

We are a consultancy partnering with a Fortune 100 enterprise to elevate the employee experience across a 40,000+ person global workforce. Our focus is empowering the employees who deliver exceptional service every day by designing intuitive, modern, and highly usable internal tools. We listen closely to employee needs, identify the highest-impact opportunities, and shape solutions that help their careers, productivity, and well-being thrive. This is a 6-month, renewable project.

About the Role

As a UX Designer consulting on the enterprise experience team, you’ll collaborate closely with agile scrum teams to help drive innovation and enhance internal product experiences. You will translate business objectives and technical capabilities into user-centered design solutions that make work simpler and more efficient for employees across the organization.

You’ll contribute design thinking, user insights, and creative problem-solving to help the client deliver best-in-class digital experiences. You should be curious about how AI can improve employee workflows and be able to advocate for usability and user-centered design within a large, complex environment.

This role is 100% remote, supporting EST hours.

You Could Be a Great Fit If You Are:

A Visual Craftsman:

You create conceptual sketches, detailed design specifications, and high-fidelity deliverables. You understand brand standards and ensure they’re applied consistently across all design solutions.

An Experience Innovator:

You participate in all phases of the design process: conceptual design, storyboards, persona and scenario development, user flows, interaction diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes, and prototypes.

A User Advocate:

With general direction, you plan and conduct user research activities—such as usability testing, interviews, or surveys—and translate insights into design recommendations that support ongoing product development and improvement.

A Natural Collaborator:

You work closely with product owners, engineers, and cross-functional team members throughout the lifecycle, seeking feedback early and often to refine designs and align solutions to business and technical realities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in UX design.
  • Experience supporting Agile teams within an enterprise or complex environment.
  • Demonstrated capability in UX design and user research; familiarity with prototyping and/or content design is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present design work, rationale, and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate moderately complex concepts into user flows, scenarios, and diagrams.
  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of design system components, patterns, and principles; experience consuming or contributing to a design system is preferred.
  • Ability to make thoughtful, user-centered design decisions and iterate as requirements evolve.
  • Portfolio including relevant UX/UI projects and case studies.
