About The Role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to take ownership of and expand Archer Review’s organic search strategy. In this role, you will focus on increasing organic visibility, improving keyword rankings, and driving high-quality traffic to our website and digital assets. Reporting directly to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will work cross-functionally with content, product, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all initiatives. This position is ideal for someone passionate about both the technical and creative aspects of SEO, including data analysis, keyword research, site architecture optimization, and content strategy development. Your efforts will have a direct and measurable impact on how nursing and medical students discover Archer Review and access our resources.

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 and is fully remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a B2C environment.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
• Experience collaborating with content teams to develop keyword-driven editorial strategies.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify new opportunities and inform content strategies across blogs, product pages, and landing pages.
• Optimize website content, metadata, headings, and internal linking structures to enhance relevance and search visibility.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure optimal site architecture, crawlability, indexing, page speed, and mobile performance.
• Partner with content and marketing teams to create SEO-informed editorial calendars and ensure content aligns with targeted keywords and user intent.
• Develop strategies to earn high-quality backlinks and strengthen domain authority through link-building initiatives.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including rankings, traffic, and conversions, using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Conduct regular SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities for improving organic visibility.
• Stay informed on industry trends, algorithm updates, and competitor strategies to continuously refine SEO tactics.
