An international company, which revolutionizes the security landscape for Linux web servers with the power of Artificial Intelligence, is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer & Product Owner to be a part of its team.

The product of the company provides extended security support and vulnerability patching for end-of-life Linux distributions and widely used languages and frameworks, allowing organizations to continue using them safely beyond their official lifecycle.

The organization has been on the market since 2009. The company's products are used by thousands of companies around the world. You will be working on the fastest-growing product.

It is a fully remote company, with flexible hours, where you can plan your day and work from anywhere in the world.

Your tasks on the position:

  • Own architecture and write production code daily (Python, Go)
  • Building & improving CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub)
  • Modernizing and refactoring legacy systems safely
  • Leading technical decisions, setting engineering standards, mentoring the team
  • Defining product vision, roadmap, priorities and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Acting as main interface for teams relying on our automation tools
  • Leading a small engineering team (4-5 engineers)

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 3+ years of experience at senior/staff level
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python
  • Practical experience with another language (Go, Java, etc.)
  • Solid background with GitLab CI/GitHub workflows
  • Strong Linux fundamentals: processes, permissions, shell, networking, packaging
  • Proven experience refactoring legacy systems
  • Experience owning a product/tool end-to-end, defining roadmaps, managing trade-offs
  • Strong ownership mindset, comfortable in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
  • English B2+

Will be an advantage:

  • Vulnerability management, CVE/CVSS, or backporting experience
  • Experience with Linux packaging (RPM/DEB) or Java/Python/Go ecosystems
  • Practical use of LLM/AI in development workflows
  • Background in platform/enablement teams
