Job Description
Game Designer (Remote)
An established international digital entertainment company is seeking an experienced Game Designer to join a highly creative and innovative game development studio. The team collaborates with top-tier artists, developers, mathematicians, and musicians to build visually striking, high-quality games for a global audience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development process across multiple game projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, mathematicians, producers, and QA teams to shape and refine each game’s vision.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including concepts, GDDs, pay tables, and in-game messaging.
- Present game concepts to stakeholders, gather feedback, and clearly communicate actionable objectives to the team.
- Chair team meetings to review goals, milestones, and project progress.
- Playtest games extensively and provide in-depth feedback on math models, visuals, sound, UI/UX, and overall player experience.
- Analyze market trends and performance data to identify new design opportunities and innovative mechanics.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Game Designer or Game Producer (preferably in the slot or casino game industry).
- Strong understanding of game production pipelines from concept to launch.
- Excellent analytical and documentation-writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with competitive games and a passion for understanding what makes games visually appealing and engaging.
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Agile methods, Gantt charts).
- Experience working with remote, cross-functional international teams.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
- UI/UX experience or a strong eye for visual design.
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and KPIs.
- Interest in current industry trends, technologies, and player preferences.
