About the Opportunity:
The organization is focused on accelerating global adoption of crypto and blockchain technology by developing secure, premium products for traders, institutions, and newcomers. This remote role contributes to the quality assurance of trading backend services, ensuring robust and high-quality software for a mission-critical trading platform.
Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive test plans before feature development, defining manual and automated testing strategies.
• Perform hands-on manual testing during development cycles to validate new features before automation.
• Balance manual exploratory testing with automation to catch edge cases that scripts might miss.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to define QA processes for the trading platform.
• Lead automation initiatives end-to-end, including strategy, implementation, CI/CD integration, and scaling coverage.
• Drive performance, security, and accessibility testing for the platform.
• Proactively document, report, and triage bugs to improve release quality and velocity.
Requirements:
• Strong programming skills in Python, Rust, or another automation-oriented language.
• Foundational trading knowledge and experience, including order types, trade execution, and margin trading.
• Ability to design comprehensive test plans before implementation, distinguishing between manual and automated testing.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks for complex applications.
• Strong manual testing skills and creative problem-solving to uncover edge cases and unexpected bugs.
• Understanding of QA principles, including exploratory testing, regression testing, and bug tracking.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and automation at scale.
• Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to building high-quality software.
