Job Description

An employer is looking for an Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to sit remote. You will primarily oversee the deployment of infrastructure and IT systems to the customers physical locations across the country. This will include network systems (Aps, firewalls, wireless, switching), Windows/ VMware servers, workstations, and any other related equipment being deployed to these hospitals/ clinics. You will support these projects in 3 different capacities: refresh/ asset lifecycle needs, new deployments/ migrations, and facility expansion/ relocation. You will collaborate with field vendors that are the boots on the ground and ensure timely and quality deployments. You will act as a point of escalation for any technology related issues and configure all related equipment going into these locations. Additional responsibilities will include scripting for hardware staging/ imaging, process automation, software migrations, and aiding with the elimination of technical debt. Additional tasks below:

Responsibilities

•  Managing and Maintaining all installed systems and infrastructure
•  Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining computer/server operating systems, application software and system management tools
•  Designing and installing computer and server hardware configurations
•  Installing software and networking systems
•  Troubleshooting network and software issues
•  Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues
•  Responding to general IT requests
•  Ensuring OS software is kept up to date and maintained
•  Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Skills And Requirements

5+ years experience in infrastructure administration/ deployment

Well versed in system and network administration

Strong background in device/ equipment deployment across multiple locations and vendor management

Strong Windows server and VMware experience

Meraki network experience (Wireless, APs, firewalls, switches, etc.)

Workstation configuration, imaging, and refresh experience

Technical support and administration background Fortinet network equipment experience

Scripting skills- Powershell or Python

Hospital/ Healthcare industry experience

Intune experience
