Job Title: UX Designer

Job Description:

Are you a Mid or Senior-level UX powerhouse with a proven track record in creating world-class, polished mobile game experiences? Gear Games is seeking for a fiercely proactive designer who thrives on pushing boundaries to build intuitive experiences and joyful gameplay.

This role demands more than just great design; it requires a confident voice. You must possess flawless written and spoken English to seamlessly partner and inspire confidence in our US-based stakeholders. You will be responsible for a range of duties that involve all the aspects of the user experience: 

• Create and enforce comprehensive UX guidelines and detailed screen flows for our established, top-grossing game and all new features.
• Champion UX solutions by presenting and defending high-fidelity interactive prototypes during high-impact weekly syncs with stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain a consistent, high-fidelity UX documentation system and style guide across the project.
• Proactively partner with Game Designers, Artists, and Engineers to ensure seamless UX solutions  integration throughout the production pipeline.
• Act as a catalyst by inspiring passion and mentoring the team in best-in-class user-centric design practices.

Job Requirements:

• Senior experience: 5+ years in professional Game UX Design, ideally for mobile.
• Prototyping mastery: Expertise in industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
• Design depth: Deep knowledge of UX, Interaction, and Visual Design principles.
• Flawless professional oral and written English communication is mandatory.

Bonus point:

• Mobile expertise: Passionate player and critical observer of best practices in the mobile games industry.
• Genre focus: Knowledge or experience with Card Battle/Strategy games (Hearthstone, Marvel Snap, etc.).
• Proactive ownership: Demonstrated extreme proactivity and strong complex problem-solving skills.
• Mentorship potential: Ability to mentor or guide less experienced Junior UX designers.
• Collaborative fit: A highly helpful, constructive, and collaborative team attitude.
• Presentation skills: Exceptional ability to document and present/defend design solutions clearly.

Working Location:

This role is open globally.

You can choose to work fully remote (only for candidates living in US or Asia time zones) OR relocate to Vietnam (Danang / Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh City) to work on-site. Relocation support provided.
