Job Description


Security Consultant L2 – SASE Implementation

Duration: Jan 5, 2026 – Jan 4, 2027 (renewable up to 2 additional years)

Commitment: Part-time, 2-3 hours/day

Location: Fully remote


Role Overview

Support the configuration, deployment, and optimization of a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution, including Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy SASE security services to meet provincial requirements
  • Set up administrators, users, and security policies within the SASE environment
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and operational support during pilot and rollout phases
  • Develop reporting dashboards and automation for security insights
  • Support security investigation teams with SASE-related tasks
  • Create documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal IT staff
  • Advise on SASE security best practices and optimization


Qualifications

  • Proven information security consulting experience (Level 2)
  • Experience as a key resource on security projects reporting to senior/mid-level management
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with SASE solutions (SWG, CASB, ZTNA preferred)
  • Ability to manage cross-organizational security initiatives
