About The Proxy Agency

The Proxy Agency is a full-service marketing firm specializing in the legal industry and B2B professional services. We partner with law firms, legal tech companies, and professional services organizations to develop and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that drive growth and market leadership.

The Role

We're seeking a data-driven Digital Marketing Manager who lives and breathes modern B2B SaaS marketing. This role is critical to our client’s growth strategy—you'll own our inbound marketing engine, be responsible for generating qualified leads in a highly competitive market, be able to understand buyer intent, optime conversion funnels, and drive measurable pipeline growth.

You'll work directly with the CMO to execute multi-channel campaigns, manage paid advertising budgets, optimize clients’ digital presence, and continuously test and iterate to improve performance. If you're energized by metrics, love experimenting with new marketing tactics, and want to make a direct impact on revenue, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

•        Paid Advertising & Media Buying: Plan, execute, and optimize LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and industry-specific media campaigns to generate qualified B2B leads. Manage advertising budgets and continuously improve cost-per-lead and conversion rates.

•        SEO & Content Marketing: Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for key industry terms. Write high-quality blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership content that drives traffic and conversions. Stay current on algorithm updates and emerging search trends.

•        Conversion Rate Optimization: Own landing page strategy, A/B testing, and lead capture form optimization. Analyze user behavior with heatmaps and session recordings to identify friction points and improve conversion rates across the buyer journey.

•        Marketing Automation & Email Campaigns: Build sophisticated email nurture sequences, lead scoring models, and automated workflows in HubSpot or similar platforms. Segment audiences and create personalized campaigns that move prospects through the funnel.

•        Analytics & Performance Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards tracking key metrics: website traffic, lead quality, conversion rates, CAC, pipeline attribution, and ROI by channel. Present insights and recommendations to leadership using data visualization tools.

•        Campaign Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the Fractional CMO to develop integrated marketing campaigns including gated content launches, webinars, and multi-touch ABM programs. Coordinate cross-channel tactics from pre-launch through post-campaign analysis.

•        Social Media & Thought Leadership: Manage company presence on LinkedIn and relevant industry platforms. Create engaging content that builds brand authority, drives engagement, and supports lead generation goals. Monitor social listening and competitive intelligence.

•        Website Management: Maintain and optimize website for performance, user experience, and conversions. Implement technical SEO best practices, update content, and ensure mobile responsiveness.

•        Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, competitive positioning, and emerging channels. Bring new ideas to the team and pilot innovative tactics that could drive breakthrough results.

Required Qualifications

•        3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience in B2B SaaS or tech companies

•        Proven track record of driving measurable lead generation and pipeline growth through digital channels

•        Expert-level proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and at least one marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.)

•        Strong SEO fundamentals and experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO

•        Excellent analytical skills with experience building dashboards and extracting actionable insights from data

•        Outstanding written communication skills with ability to create compelling copy for various formats

•        Experience working in competitive markets where differentiation and positioning matter

•        Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines

•        Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) for creating marketing assets

•        Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

Bonus Points For

•        Experience marketing to legal, real estate, or workplace/facilities management verticals

•        Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Byword, etc.) for content creation and optimization

•        Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools

•        WordPress development skills or experience with headless CMS platforms

•        Knowledge of conversion rate optimization tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Optimizely, VWO)

•        Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, or similar platforms

•        Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems and marketing-sales alignment
