Job Description


We Are Hiring: Senior Implementation Lead – Dayforce (Remote)


Location: Remote

Experience: 5+ Years

Type: Full-Time


We are seeking a Senior Implementation Lead – Dayforce HCM to drive end-to-end technical delivery across retail business environments. This role requires strong hands-on configuration and integration experience with Dayforce, along with the ability to lead deployments, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across multiple business teams.



🔧 Role Overview


As the Senior Implementation Lead, you will lead the technical implementation of Dayforce across Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, and Scheduling. You will design, configure, integrate, test, and stabilize the platform while ensuring compliance with labor laws and operational alignment across retail teams.


🛠 Key Responsibilities


Lead Dayforce HCM implementations across multiple retail business units.


Configure modules including Payroll, Time & Attendance, WFM, and Scheduling.


Design, build, and manage integrations with third-party systems (POS, ERP, Payroll Systems, etc.).


Drive data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation & transformation.


Conduct troubleshooting to ensure performance and system stability.


Lead technical workshops and collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, Ops, and Business stakeholders.


Support testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) and ensure smooth go-live transitions.


Maintain compliance with labor regulations & data governance standards.


Provide training, documentation, and post-implementation support.


Participate in architecture design reviews and code review best practices.



💡 Skills & Leadership Qualities


Strong expertise in Dayforce architecture, APIs, and configuration frameworks.


Working knowledge of Dayforce Payroll functionality and setup.


Experience with Dayforce Data Transformation Services (DTS).


Hands-on skills in SQL, XML, scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).


Ability to work in complex retail scheduling & unionized labor environments.


Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical workshops.



🎓 Education & Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.


5+ years in HCM system implementation with a minimum of 2+ years in Dayforce.


Experience with middleware/ETL tools and enterprise workforce systems.
