Swapop! an AI-powered marketplace for Gen Z to swap, buy, and trade items is seeking a Marketing Program Director who will play a dual role:
. Help build Swapop’s core marketing strategy and company-wide marketing plan
. Design and lead our national internship program and campus marketing initiatives
This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity with the potential to transition into a paid senior leadership role post-funding.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Company Growth
• Work directly with the Founder to build Swapop’s holistic marketing strategy.
• Develop the brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plan.
• Build the early content and campaign roadmap for app growth.
• Identify target audiences, growth channels, and early traction experiments.
• Help shape Swapop’s long-term marketing vision and systems.
Internship Program & Campus Expansion
• Build and lead the Swapop Applied Marketing Lab — a hands-on national internship program.
• Design the curriculum, workshops, learning materials, and weekly activities.
• Mentor, coach, and guide student teams in executing real startup campaigns.
• Collaborate with the University Partnerships Leader to expand across campuses.
• Use your professional network to bring in guest speakers and startup mentors.
• Monitor student output, campaign performance, and engagement KPIs.
• Lead workshops on growth hacking, brand strategy, storytelling, and creative development.

Requirements
• 5+ years in marketing, growth strategy, brand strategy, or marketing education.
• Experience building or managing successful campaigns with measurable results.
• Strong teaching, leadership, and mentorship skills.
• Creativity, strategic thinking, and comfort operating in a startup environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire student teams.
• Able to commit 10–15 hours per week to strategy, mentoring, and program leadership.
