Marketing Manager, ASO, SEO & Blog

We’re looking for an ASO/SEO & Blog Manager who will own and optimize our organic growth engine across app stores, search, and content platforms. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution—leading efforts to increase app visibility, website traffic, and blog engagement that ultimately drives user acquisition and retention. You’ll collaborate across product, creative, and analytics teams to ensure every keyword, description, and piece of content delivers measurable impact.

What You’ll Do
- Lead ASO strategy across iOS App Store and Google Play, optimizing metadata, visuals, and ratings to improve rankings and conversion rates.
- Manage SEO strategy for shopkick.com, driving growth through keyword research, technical optimization, and on-page improvements.
- Own the Shopkick blog, from editorial strategy to publishing cadence—creating and optimizing content that supports organic acquisition and engagement goals.
- Collaborate with design and copy teams to produce keyword-rich app screenshots, promotional assets, and landing pages that align with marketing campaigns.
- Analyze organic performance data across web and app, identify trends, and present insights to key stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Lifecycle teams to ensure consistent messaging and user journey alignment across all owned channels.
- Stay on top of algorithm changes, ASO/SEO best practices, and competitive trends to keep Shopkick’s organic presence ahead of the curve.
- Manage relationships with third-party SEO tools, freelancers, or agencies as needed.
- Build monthly performance reports highlighting growth, learnings, and next steps.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in ASO, SEO, and/or content marketing, ideally within mobile app or consumer tech environments.
- Proven record of improving App Store visibility, web rankings, and organic traffic growth.
- Deep understanding of keyword strategy, metadata optimization, link building, and content SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Google Analytics, Search Console, and keyword tracking tools (e.g., AppTweak, Semrush, Ahrefs).
- Excellent writing and editing skills with an eye for storytelling that converts.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing content calendars, freelancers, or agencies a plus.
This position is open to fully remote.
Base salary for this role is between $70,000 - $80,000 USD plus a performance bonus and benefits.
