We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester with strong skills in both manual testing and test automation to join our distributed engineering team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our products used by customers across Europe. This is a fully remote position, working closely with cross-functional teams based in Denmark.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks.
- Participate in requirement reviews to identify test scenarios and improve testability.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and exploratory testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and designers to ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects; drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Develop and manage test plans, test strategies, and testing documentation.
- Proactively improve QA processes, tools, and best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to a high-standard quality culture.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
- Solid understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins…).
- Ability to read and write automation scripts in Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; comfortable working with international teams.
- Experience working remotely in an agile environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6).
- Knowledge of security testing principles.
- Experience in logistics, fintech, or enterprise-level systems.
