We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator with strong expertise in SCCM (ConfigMgr) to support critical IT open systems technologies, infrastructure operations, and system performance optimization. This is a fully remote opportunity with long-term project impact.
🔍 Job Summary
The Windows Administrator will:
Apply expert knowledge of IT open systems technologies across various operating systems and hardware platforms.
Install new software releases, system upgrades, patches, and resolve software-related issues.
Provide 3rd-level support for server operating systems (35% physical & blade server environments).
Design and implement new platforms and environments into existing infrastructure (20%).
Lead projects and coordinate effectively across divisions and business units (15%).
Monitor infrastructure for optimal performance and prevent unplanned outages (10%).
Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation for new and existing systems (10%).
Ensure system configuration integrity and define disaster recovery requirements.
Deliver DR solutions for open systems technologies and support additional assigned responsibilities (10%).
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
✔ 4+ years installing and supporting SCCM infrastructure
Troubleshooting SCCM site servers
In-console upgrades
Side-by-side server migrations
✔ Windows 10 OS upgrade experience
Using SCCM ConfigMgr & MDT
Creating custom task sequences and packages
✔ 2+ years application packaging experience
Using native SCCM
Custom packaging solutions
✔ 2+ years patch management experience
Creating deployment groups and packages
Using ADRs
Reporting compliance status
✔ Working knowledge of PowerShell & command-line tools
✔ Understanding of basic network connectivity & client health
