Role

Overview

Spans full-funnel growth for the company wide— covering acquisition, SEO, SEM, content strategy, tech stack partnerships, and CRM optimisation.

The role leads a small team while aligning closely with founders, Sales, Ops, and external partners to drive GTM clarity, funnel optimisation, and cross-brand strategy. Responsibilities include reporting infrastructure, campaign audits, stakeholder communication, and guiding both brands toward a unified growth engine.

 

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Quarterly GTM planning.
  • Setting positioning, messaging, and value pillars.
  • Directing SEO/SEM strategy across SG and MY.
  • Aligning marketing pipeline targets with Sales (MASQL → SQL → Won).
  • Funnel optimisation end-to-end (Ads → LP → CRM → Handover).
  • Directing content strategy (topics, prioritisation, SEO value).
  • Evaluating Tech Stacks and partnership alignment for GTM.
  • Steering narrative shifts (e.g., PSG → Tech Stacks + OS + Advisory).
  • Prioritisation under limited resources.
  • Strategic decision-making on budget allocation and cross-brand alignment.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting across performance, SEO, Ads, MASQL.
  • Dashboard ownership: GA4, Google Ads, GSC, Semrush, HubSpot, Odoo.
  • Weekly syncs with the founders for priority alignment.
  • Cross-team syncs with the relevant internal teams.
  • Managing campaign diagnostics, keyword audits, search term clean-ups.
  • Running troubleshooting loops for CRM lead quality and misalignment.
  • Maintaining internal documentation (Notion systems, cadences, SOPs).
  • Coordinating reporting processes for Acc Pro’s SecondCRM workflow.

 

Channel Ownership

  • Google Ads (SG & MY)
  • SG: Incorporation, Accounting, Cosec, GST-focused search campaigns.
  • MY: Cosec MY top-ranking synergy with Ads, niche accounting keywords.
  • Monthly audits, budget shifts, negative keywords, restructuring.
  • Lead quality validation with Sales and CRM tagging.
  • Managing remarketing + upcoming Facebook/IG retargeting expansion.
  • LP performance ownership and A/B testing.

 

  • SEO Strategy
  • Content calendar direction (SG & MY).
  • Core clusters: Company secretary, GST, accounting, incorporation.
  • Ranking movements tracking and interventions.
  • Internal linking overhaul.
  • Content refreshes and snippet capture.
  • Investigating zero-click / AI-overview impact.
  • Coordinating experiments: glossary, FAQs, SERP-friendly pages.
  • Social (LinkedIn)
  • Founder-led content strategy & amplification.
  • Company page direction and post themes.
  • Using social to support credibility + SEO + campaigns.
  • Retargeting & Remarketing
  • Implementing cross-platform retargeting (Google Display → FB/IG).
  • Building pooled remarketing audiences via GA4 + Ads.
  • Aligning retargeting messaging with funnel stage.
  • Website & Landing Pages
  • Ownership of UX, messaging clarity, CTA optimisation.
  • Ensuring alignment between SEO pages and Ads LPs.
  • Leading diagnostics for low conversion issues.

 

Team Leadership Responsibilities

  • Mentoring and developing team (SEO/Content Ops, analytical lead).
  • Coaching the team (collaborations, SEM support, campaigns).
  • Providing clarity on roles, scopes, and decision rights.
  • 1:1 frameworks: blockers, priorities, capability building.
  • Delegation: content production, SEO tasks, reporting components.
  • Sprint planning for weekly and monthly cycles.
  • Founder alignment on long-term team structure (1–5 years).
  • Ensuring team becomes more self-sufficient, reducing bottlenecks.
  • Managing morale, expectations, and communication pathways.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s (MBA or MSc Marketing) or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3–5 years in leadership/supervisory roles.
  • Experience leading multi-channel campaigns.
  • Preferably experienced in working for SG & MY portfolio.

Skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and analytics.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
  • Working knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SEO analytics tools like Ahrefs or Semrush.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
