Location: Romania (Remote)
Working schedule: 14:00–22:00 (RO time), to ensure effective collaboration with US-based teams
We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer with strong experience in React Native and/or Expo to join a growing international engineering team building modern data, AI, and voice platforms for global-scale products. You will work in a fast-paced, iteration-driven environment that values accountability, ownership and collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Build, enhance, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Expo.
- Develop clean, reusable components and contribute to a scalable application architecture.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, Backend, and QA teams to deliver features from concept to release.
- Optimize app performance and ensure stable, smooth experiences across iOS and Android.
- Troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Drive continuous improvements in workflows, development processes, and best practices.
- Take ownership of production issues, identifying, triaging, escalating, and resolving them efficiently.
- Support and mentor colleagues through open collaboration and constructive code reviews.
- Contribute to an agile, cloud-based CI/CD pipeline focused on high-quality delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in mobile app development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React Native or Expo frameworks.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and responsive design.
- Familiarity with state-management libraries such as Redux, Recoil, Zustand, Jotai, or MobX.
- Strong debugging skills and experience using simulators/emulators.
