About the Role
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the company’s global employee benefits strategy and the mobility framework across Cellnex Group. It ensures consistency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in mobility and benefits programs, while supporting local People teams and maintaining alignment with the Group’s people strategy.
What You’ll Do
Benefits Management
- Define and oversee the Group benefits framework, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with the company’s People strategy.
- Manage global benefits programs (e.g., insurance, pensions, wellbeing, flexible benefits) and set minimum standards for local plans.
- Act as a center of expertise supporting Country People teams, who retain ownership of local benefit management.
- In collaboration with Procurement, co-lead vendor management and negotiations with brokers and providers at the Group level to leverage scale and ensure consistent service quality.
- Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for employee benefits across countries.
- Benchmark market practices and support local teams in designing competitive and sustainable benefit offerings.
Global Mobility
- Design, maintain, and communicate global mobility policies covering international assignments, permanent and temporary transfers, and relocations.
- Ensure alignment of mobility programs with business objectives, talent strategy, and fiscal responsibility.
- Coordinate with external vendors (tax advisors, immigration specialists, relocation providers) to ensure compliance with immigration, tax, and social security regulations.
- Support local People teams in managing the end-to-end assignment lifecycle according to established policies and processes: cost projections, contracts, briefings, on-assignment support, and repatriation.
- Develop and monitor total assignment cost tracking and reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Serve as an internal consultant to HRBPs and business leaders on mobility cases, ensuring consistency of approach and risk management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in mobility processes and digital tools.
What We’re Looking For
Education
- University degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies in International HR Management, Global Mobility, or Compensation & Benefits are a plus.
Languages
- English: Advanced (Must-have)
- Spanish: Intermediate (Valuable)
- Any other country language: Intermediate (Valuable)
Tools & Systems
- MS Office: Advanced (Must-have)
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Global Mobility and/or Benefits roles, preferably in multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of European labor laws, tax, and social security regulations affecting international assignments and benefits.
- Experience managing external providers and negotiating contracts.
- Proven track record of policy development and process harmonization.
Other Relevant Skills
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong ability to review and analyze legal documents, employment contracts, and policy texts.
- Ability to balance global governance with local flexibility.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of HRIS and mobility/benefits management tools.
