Job Description

Vaimo is a full-service digital experience agency that helps brands and businesses grow by uniting commerce, content, data, and insights into seamless, engaging, and beautifully designed customer experiences.

With 16+ years of experience and offices across the Nordics, EMEA, and North America, we combine strategy, design, and technology to create digital experiences that drive measurable results. Our teams work across B2C, B2B, and D2C — from redefining global lifestyle brands to transforming complex enterprise ecosystems.

What unites our work is a simple belief: Experience is Everything.

We design and build digital experiences that connect people and brands — seamlessly, meaningfully, and for impact.

We’re looking for a US-based Product Manager who is both client-facing and very hands-on: someone who can manage relationships, budgets, and delivery and work directly with backlogs, team rituals, and tools. You’ll act as product manager, delivery lead, light product owner, and scrum master, working closely with EU-based teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Own US client projects end-to-end – from kickoff to delivery – building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Translate client goals and contracts into clear scope, plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage backlogs and roadmaps: prioritise, refine, and keep a steady flow of ready work.
  • Run team rituals (daily stand-ups, planning, refinement, demos, retros) and keep delivery moving.
  • Track project health, budget, risks, change requests and decisions; forecast ETC and act early if timelines or margins are at risk.
  • Control scope, write-offs, and commercial impact in collaboration with Account Management and Finance.
  • Use Jira + Confluence + Google Docs (or similar) task management and collaboration tools to drive work, keep boards accurate, and document decisions.
  • Provide clear status reports and steering updates and ensure governance, roles, and escalation paths are in place.

What Success Looks Like

  • Happy clients and strong NPS / feedback.
  • Profitable, predictable projects with controlled write-offs.
  • Green project health metrics and high-quality PM deliverables.

What You Bring

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years managing digital projects, ideally in an agency / consultancy or eCommerce setting.
  • Proven delivery of software / digital commerce projects (e.g. Adobe Commerce/Magento, Shopify, commercetools, Salesforce Commerce, BigCommerce, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience with:
      • Backlog and roadmap management
      • Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
      • Running agile rituals
      • Using Jira (or similar) and Confluence
  • Comfortable leading tough client conversations and making decisions on the spot.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones (US + EU).
  • Strong communicator with C-level, product, and technical stakeholders; proven team leadership and commercial awareness.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, SAFe or similar.
  • Degree in business, management, information systems, or similar.
  • Experience in product ownership or CRO/analytics for eCommerce.

What We Offer

  • A variety of small and large digital commerce projects for well-known brands.
  • A chance to shape how we deliver for US clients with strong EU-team support.
  • Flexible, modern working environment with work–life balance.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and access to AI tools, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and Confluence.

If you love digital commerce, enjoy being in the weeds and in the boardroom, and want real ownership instead of just running status meetings, we’d love to hear from you.
