Job Description:

Must Have’ skills and experiences:

• Define and prioritize the product backlog for Ecommerce and API features.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, engineering, marketing) to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Own API specifications, versioning, and integration strategy for partners and developers.

• Monitor KPIs for Ecommerce (conversion, engagement) and API performance (uptime, scalability).

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Ecommerce and API-driven environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Education: Bachelor's degree.

Position Summary:


Leveraging your unique combination of business and technology knowledge and experience, you will help lead the implementation and management of the Company System (CDS) which manages and provides equipment meta data to other systems that are used by our customers, our partners, and organizations to reduce unplanned downtime.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

-Champion customers and business stakeholders as a leader of Agile teams’ implementation of the Platform Services vision and roadmap, leveraging your unique combination of technical and business knowledge and experiences.

-Drive the development and lifecycle management of platform services capabilities that power reduced customer unplanned downtime and optimizing equipment performance.

-Maintain and ruthlessly prioritize and refine the teams’ backlog with an intense focus on delivering business value and the ability to set and manage global stakeholder expectations accordingly.

-Participate in Program Increment (PI) preparation and planning, building and maintaining the team backlogs, iteration planning, system demos for customers and internal stakeholders, and Inspect and Adapt events to address impediments and enable continuous improvement.

-Engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives.

-Collaborate with digital product management, engineering and operations peers to deliver strategic and tactical plans and objectives


To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

-Knowledge and practical experience in Scaled Agile Framework environment as a Product Owner or Product Manager of digital customer and partner solutions.

-Certified as a Scaled Agile Product Owner.

-Knowledge and practical experience with cloud-based applications product ownership, product management, or development, with telematics-based IoT solutions preferred.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to customers, partners, and a broad range of technical and non-technical business stakeholders, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations


Additional Role Details / Responsibilities:

-Collaborates with business management to identify short and long-term business priorities. Heavily involved in program backlog refinement, preparation for Program Increment planning, and participation in planning events.

-Defines and drives iteration goals and iteration content via prioritized stories; Build, edit, and maintain the Team Backlog of user stories, defects, and enablers; Primary responsibility for maintaining the flow of just-in-time story elaboration.

-Practices Lean/Agile leadership; contributes to vision and Program backlog; owns team backlog and implementation.

-Accept user stories as done, including validation the story meets acceptance criteria, has appropriate acceptance tests, and complies with the Definition of Done (DoD).

-Understand the scope of enabler work and collaborate with System and Solution Architect/Engineering to assist decisions and sequencing of technological infrastructures.

-Understands Feature planning and prioritization for capabilities; Primary source for story detail and priorities in Iteration Planning, establishes story acceptance criteria; accepts stories into the baseline; Applies Behavior Driven Development (BDD) to guide development, decrease rework, and increase flow.

-Review and accept stories in the Team demo, participate in the Iteration Retrospective and the Inspect and Adapt workshop.

-Applies different approaches to convince others to change their opinion or plan, and wins support from others for ideas; able to build support with peers without direct lines of reporting across a matrix organization.

-Program Backlog Management and User Story Elaboration - Identifies, refines, prioritizes, and sequences backlog items using Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) to ensure the economic success of the solution; determines the details of a product feature to ensure that any unanswered questions about it are answered so that development can proceed.

-Building High Performance Teams - Identifies and applies critical skills and Lean-Agile principles and practices in the creation of high-performing Agile teams to construct high-quality, well designed technical solutions.

-Planning and Managing Ceremonies - Plans, schedules, and leads ceremonies that create a cadence for the team to maximize productivity, promote collaboration, maintain transparency, and inspect and adapt so the team can continuously learn and improve.

-Business Insight - Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals.

Education, Licenses, Certifications, Experience:

-College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in business or relevant technology-related program is required.

-SAFe® Product Owner/Agile Product Manager (POPM) certification highly preferred.

-This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

-Business knowledge with knowledge and practical experience of the Lean methodology, principles and tools are preferred.

-Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
