Job Description


Title: Sr Project Manager

Location: Onsite it Ft Lauderdale, FL (relocation assistance available)

Duration: FTE/Permanent

Salary: 125-130k +bonus


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk/issue/dependency logs, and budgets.
  • Apply Waterfall, Hybrid, and/or Agile methodologies as appropriate to deliver projects efficiently while balancing structure and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Deliver clear, regular status updates to senior leadership and executives; proactively address concerns and manage expectations.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation (plans, status reports, change requests, meeting minutes, etc.).
  • Facilitate project reviews and retrospectives to evaluate outcomes, capture lessons learned, and collect stakeholder feedback.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation/contingency plans, and escalate when necessary.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Optimize resource allocation, monitor progress, and adjust plans/schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines and pressure.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of project management and process improvement experience within a large-scale, complex IT environment.
  • Experience implementing Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, Procore, ERP systems, or Clarity PPM.
  • Proven hands-on experience successfully delivering projects using Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver results in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Solid problem-solving, coordination, documentation, and analytical capabilities.
