Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Web3 and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Specialist to join our remote team. This full-time position will involve leading the integration of blockchain and DeFi technologies across our platform. As a specialist, you will develop, implement, and manage blockchain-based smart contracts, analyze and assess DeFi protocols, stay ahead of the latest Web3 innovations, and develop strategies to leverage blockchain platforms and tools effectively. Additionally, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for blockchain integration and innovation, while maintaining comprehensive documentation for processes and technical developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Blockchain Integration: Lead the development, integration, and management of blockchain-based smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
- DeFi Strategy and Implementation: Analyze and assess DeFi protocols and propose strategies to enhance or integrate them into the Simba Exchange ecosystem.
- Innovative Solutions: Stay up-to-date on the latest Web3 trends, technologies, and industry developments, identifying opportunities to apply new innovations to our platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and business development teams to identify blockchain opportunities, define project requirements, and execute them.
- Docmentation: Maintain detailed and clear documentation for blockchain-related processes, innovations, and best practices, ensuring knowledge is shared across teams.
- DeFi and Tokenomics Strategy: Collaborate in the design and optimization of tokenomics, liquidity models, staking, yield farming, and governance mechanisms for the Simba Exchange ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Blockchain Development, Smart Contract Programming, and Web3 Integration
- Knowledge of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols, ecosystems, and tools
- Strong skills in Cryptography, Security, and Tokenomics
- Proficiency in Programming Languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience with Blockchain Platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or similar
- Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Analytical Skills
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Abilities
- Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in the blockchain and DeFi field, preferred
