We are looking for a skilled Remote Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure. You will work closely with IT, security, and engineering teams to ensure seamless connectivity and high network performance across a fully distributed environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud network environments
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement network security measures, firewalls, and access controls
- Manage routers, switches, load balancers, and other network devices
- Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and patch management
- Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with standards
- Respond to incidents and support escalation for network-related issues
- 3–5+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
- Experience with VPNs, SD-WAN, VLANs, and network segmentation
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of network security best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Network+, Security+)
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Python scripts)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Exposure to VoIP or unified communications
- Experience with Zero Trust or SASE frameworks
