Job Description
Position: QA Engineer (Remote)
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our web and API-based systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical, and experienced in both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to validate user flows, ensure end-to-end functionality, and maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform UI and functional testing across web platforms, ensuring user flows work as intended.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct manual and automated testing for regression, performance, and integration scenarios.
- Perform API testing (e.g., Postman), including positive, negative, and edge-case validations.
- Identify, document, and track issues using proper QA tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers to validate fixes, improvements, and deployments.
- Maintain testing documentation and ensure consistent test coverage.
- Participate in release verification and quality sign-off processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices.
- Skilled in UI/UX flow testing and end-to-end scenarios.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar.
- Ability to write clear bug reports and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to communicate effectively in English is a plus.
