Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Experience: 8+ years

Employment: Full-time

About the Role

WISER is expanding its national presence in quantum education, innovation, and workforce development and we’re looking for a Marketing & Partnerships Manager who can bring our story to life. If you love crafting compelling narratives, translating scientific research into clear and engaging content, and building relationships across a global quantum ecosystem, this role is for you.

You will lead marketing, communications, case studies, content development, events, and partner engagement across our quantum programs. This includes promoting groundbreaking quantum learning initiatives, capturing impact stories from students, research fellows and partners, representing WISER at conferences, and strengthening our network across labs, universities, industry, and government.

This is a remote, high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and can move seamlessly between strategy, writing, branding, and relationship-building.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, program management, science communication, or ecosystem development.
  • Experience producing case studies, reports, videos, articles, and partner spotlights
  • Comfortable representing an organization at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workflows, contractors, and partners.
  • Experience working with universities, startups, government agencies, or technical communities is a plus.
  • Background or familiarity with quantum computing, advanced technology, or emerging tech ecosystems strongly preferred.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a fully remote, distributed environment.

What You’ll DoMarketing & Communications
  • Lead content strategy for WISER’s quantum programs, including newsletters, blogs, campaign copy, landing pages, and social media.
  • Develop case studies showcasing program impact, student success, partner collaborations, and real-world quantum applications.
  • Produce marketing collateral for program launches, fellowships, bootcamps, and major announcements.
  • Manage email campaigns, enrollment funnels, and audience engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Build and maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement
  • Cultivate and manage relationships across the global quantum ecosystem - universities, national labs, startups, research institutes, and industry partners.
  • Coordinate interviews, spotlights, and community features with partners, fellows, and collaborators.
  • Support onboarding of new partners and assist in co-developing content, events, and outreach campaigns.

Program Development in New Scientific Domains
  • Lead the creation of new education programs (short courses, bootcamps, learning modules, lecture series).
  • Conduct expert interviews, landscape research, and curriculum scoping to define program content.
  • Work with scientists, labs, and industry experts to source lectures, real-world challenges, and hands-on learning materials.
  • Package learning content into accessible, high-quality digital or hybrid programs

Events, Conferences & Visibility

  • Represent WISER at major conferences, seminars, and convenings in quantum technology, workforce development, and innovation.
  • Lead preparation for conference presence—booth materials, presentations, handouts, and event communications.
  • Organize virtual and in-person events including webinars, panel discussions, student showcases, and partner roundtables.

Program Storytelling & Impact Documentation
  • Capture compelling narratives from students, educators, and stakeholders to highlight pathways into quantum careers.
  • Gather program performance data and feedback to feed into reports, case studies, funding proposals, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Develop visual and written materials that communicate outcomes, milestones, and community impact.

Internal Coordination & Leadership
  • Manage contractors and part-time staff for design, video editing, content development, and marketing operations.
  • Support curriculum, research, and technical teams by translating complex concepts into accessible materials for public audiences.
