Location: 90% Remote (must be based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area)

Lake House Digital is a boutique, data-driven marketing agency that partners with B2B and B2C clients across a range of industries—including life sciences, authors, retail, hospitality, and professional services. We are a fully remote team that values excellence, collaboration, and meaningful client relationships. We gather several times a year for in-person strategy sessions and professional development.


We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role begins as a 20-hour-per-week contractor position with strong potential to transition into a full-time employee role in the future. The ideal start date is January 1.


About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will support day-to-day marketing execution across multiple client accounts. This role requires strong communication, polished professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. You’ll manage projects, collaborate closely with clients, and ensure deliverables are completed with accuracy, creativity, and timeliness.

 


Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Account Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients and confidently participate in Zoom meetings.
  • Communicate updates clearly, professionally, and proactively.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations across multiple accounts.

Digital Marketing Execution

  • Plan, draft, and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns, including drafting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Support SEO tasks such as keyword research, content optimization, and reporting.
  • Assist with marketing strategy development and provide performance insights for clients.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Use Monday.com dashboards to manage tasks, timelines, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Contribute to recurring reporting and analytics summaries.


Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5+ years of digital marketing experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—polished, professional, and confident on Zoom.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection for client-facing video calls.


Experience with:

Social Media Marketing (especially LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)

SEO fundamentals

Email marketing platforms (MailChimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar)


Strong familiarity with:

  • Canva
  • Semrush
  • Monday.com
  • (Experience with all three is strongly preferred.)


Preferred Experience

  • Prior agency experience or managing multiple accounts.
  • Working knowledge of paid ads (Meta, Google) is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to write clean, strategic marketing copy.
  • Bonus: Experience with PR, media outreach, pitch writing, or managing press opportunities.
