About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong technical understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and proven project leadership capabilities. In this flexible part-time role, you will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, delivery, and alignment of software development initiatives — fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from planning to successful deployment

• Define project goals, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders

• Create and manage project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation

• Lead Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Facilitate effective communication across cross-functional teams

• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies proactively

• Track progress using Agile metrics and status reports

• Coordinate with frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps teams

• Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and proper documentation

• Review technical decisions or architecture direction when needed

• Manage priorities, expectations, and escalation pathways

• Drive continuous delivery improvements and project efficiencies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in software development

• Strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks: React.js, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, Express.js

• Ability to review or interpret JavaScript/TypeScript code

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Proficiency with Jira or similar project management platforms

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills

• Experience managing remote or distributed technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Previous experience as a developer or technical lead

• Exposure to AWS or cloud-based environments

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices concepts

• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or GraphQL

• Knowledge of estimation frameworks such as story points or T-shirt sizing

• Experience preparing or reviewing technical documentation
