Job Overview


The Vice President of Business Development is a senior executive leader responsible for driving DigiFinex’s global revenue growth, institutional partnerships, and market expansion strategy. This role leads large-scale initiatives across institutional services, strategic alliances, enterprise sales, token listings, Web3 ecosystem development, and regional growth programs.


Reporting directly to the CEO and EVP, the VP will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Institutional Services, Marketing, Global Strategy, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate is an accomplished business development leader with deep experience in crypto, fintech, trading technology, or global financial platforms—capable of turning strategic opportunities into commercial results.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth Leadership


Define and lead DigiFinex’s global business development strategy across institutional, corporate, and ecosystem partners.


Identify and execute multi-year strategic growth opportunities in new markets, asset classes, and product verticals.


Transform DigiFinex’s long-term mission into actionable growth initiatives, commercial roadmaps, and market entry strategies.


Ensure alignment between business development objectives and executive leadership priorities.


Institutional Partnerships & Enterprise Expansion


Drive partnerships with hedge funds, trading firms, liquidity providers, payment companies, blockchain foundations, custodians, and enterprise clients.


Oversee deal negotiations, commercial structuring, and long-term revenue partnership frameworks.


Collaborate with Institutional Services to support onboarding, liquidity programs, API integrations, and ongoing relationship management.


Lead expansion into institutional-grade products including derivatives, prime services, market-making, and OTC.


New Market Development & Global Expansion


Design and execute DigiFinex’s expansion strategies across North America, LATAM, Europe, and APAC.


Lead initiatives related to new market licensing, regulatory readiness, localized partnerships, and regional commercial operations.


Represent DigiFinex in discussions with external partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders.


Ecosystem Development & Web3 Partnerships


Build strategic alliances with blockchain networks, DeFi platforms, Web3 projects, and token issuers.


Oversee token listing evaluations, launchpad collaborations, and ecosystem co-development initiatives.


Develop partnerships that accelerate user growth, liquidity depth, and product adoption.


Cross-Functional Revenue Enablement


Partner with Product and Engineering to align commercial opportunities with product roadmap and technology requirements.


Work with Compliance and Risk to ensure all business development activities meet global regulatory standards.


Coordinate with Marketing and Operations to support go-to-market strategies for new products and regions.


Data-Driven Commercial Execution


Develop KPIs, revenue forecasts, and analytics dashboards to evaluate partnership performance and market penetration.


Conduct ROI analysis, growth modeling, and competitive assessments to guide strategic decision-making.


Use data insights to prioritize opportunities and optimize resource allocation.


Leadership & Organizational Development


Build and lead a high-performing global business development organization.


Promote a culture of collaboration, commercial excellence, and transparent communication.


Strengthen alignment across DigiFinex’s global offices and cross-functional teams.


Qualifications


20+ years of leadership experience in business development, strategic partnerships, institutional sales, or global expansion.


Extensive background in crypto exchanges, fintech, financial markets, or trading technology.


Proven success in securing major partnerships, scaling institutional business, and leading multi-market growth initiatives.


Strong understanding of digital asset markets, trading ecosystems, liquidity structures, and global regulatory environments.


Expertise in deal-making, commercial negotiations, strategic planning, and executive communication.


Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced certifications preferred.
