UI Web Designer

Liaison Creative + Marketing has a full-time UI Web Designer role supporting our technology client, a global innovator that ensures the world stays connected through network testing and measurement. You will have the opportunity to work with a tightly knit creative team to design polished, performance-driven web pages. Partnering with creative, marketing, and web development teams to translate complex requirements into responsive customer experiences that drive engagement and conversion is core to the role. This is a fully remote position open to residents of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI.

THE ROLE

• Build page mock-ups for new product launches and future web experiences and visual migration with knowledge of responsive web design and grid systems
• Execute the end-to-end web page production process for product launches, page updates, and marketing campaigns, managing project intake and tracking progress through JIRA
• Collaborate with marketing to design high-converting layouts that utilize A/B testing and personalization strategies to meet SEO and KPI goals
• Partner closely with the marketing, creative, and web development teams to design and hand off new features, templates, and components, ensuring feasible and accessible implementations
• Conduct visual audits of staged pages to ensure the final build matches the design intent, and identify opportunities to improve the aesthetic quality of key site sections

HOW TO BE A TOP CANDIDATE

• You have 3-5 years of web design experience within a larger enterprise organization with a preference for technology industry experience
• You have a BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience in digital marketing, UI/UX, and web design and development
• An online portfolio showcasing a wide range of web and visual design work is required
• You have a familiarity with A/B testing principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO) design best practices
• You understand the importance of marketing data informing the customer experience and designs that convert leads
• You have experience making complex technical information look clean, modern, and approachable
• You don't just design single pages; you think in components and templates that the development team can reuse
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environments

SKILLS

• Expert proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Styles) and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Ceros or similar programs for creating experiential content
• Proficiency in JIRA or similar project management tools
• Understanding of HTML/CSS constraints (ability to speak "developer language") is a plus
