Senior Web App Designer - Client-Facing Build Team

Location: Remote (U.S. time zone availability preferred)

Role Type: Full-Time (Contractor or Employee depending on experience)

As a Web App Designer for AppRabbit, you’ll work directly with fitness coaches to design custom mobile and web app layouts using our widget-based builder (no coding required). You’ll translate ideas into clean, intuitive interfaces, suggest smart ways to use features, solve creative problems on the fly, and guide clients through the build process with clarity and confidence.

You’ll also act as a bridge between clients and development collecting feedback, identifying needed features, and advocating for user experience improvements.

• Hosting design + layout calls to uncover the client’s vision, brand style, and functional needs.
• Turning rough ideas into polished app designs using our drag-and-drop widget builder.
• Creating intuitive layouts for dashboards, training programs, communities, nutrition sections, and more.
• Suggesting creative ways to utilize features and automations to bring client goals to life.
• Advising coaches on best practices for app experience that improves retention and results.
• Reviewing onboarding forms, content, and assets, and identifying gaps before creation begins.
• Managing client expectations by clearly outlining design timelines, revisions, and milestones.
• Navigating client sentiment with emotional intelligence - especially when feedback is unclear or shifting.
• Communicating recurring feedback, feature requests, and UX improvements to the development team.
• Supporting on-time launches by collaborating with builders, support, and account managers.
• Delivering final designs that make clients say, “This looks better than I imagined.”
• Managing the Build Team to execute data input, widget setup, and small implementation tasks ensuring all assets, programs, and content are uploaded accurately and on schedule.
• Overseeing the total project budget (design, build hours, assets, revisions), keeping the client’s scope aligned with their investment, and developing SOPs to streamline the full build lifecycle.

• Designers with web and mobile UI/UX experience (no code required).
