Job Title: Senior Product Owner
Location: Ireland (Remote)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to €85,000
About the Role
Gempool is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to join our client’s team delivering solutions in regulated environments. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations, data management, and IT to ensure you deliver value effectively. You will prioritise initiatives, refine requirements, and guide Agile teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and compliance standards.
What You’ll Do
- Own and prioritise the product backlog for key digital solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with Agile development teams to deliver features on time and to high-quality standards.
- Ensure digital solutions comply with regulatory and industry requirements.
- Track product performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate across teams, manage dependencies, and act as a subject-matter expert within the product domain.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Proven experience working with Agile teams, managing backlogs, and delivering digital solutions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience with digital platforms in regulated industries.
Nice to Have
- Clinical trial or life sciences experience, including familiarity with clinical trial systems (EDC, CTMS) and regulatory requirements.
- Agile certification (CSPO, PSPO) or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of CDISC, eClinical systems, or clinical trial data workflows.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives or SaaS platforms in life sciences.
- Experience working with CROs or pharmaceutical companies.
