About The Role
We’re hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer to automate and scale the global bare metal infrastructure that powers everything at Helius. You’ll own provisioning, lifecycle management, deployment tooling, observability, and reliability workflows that every product team depends on.
This isn’t a narrow ops role. You’ll build high-leverage systems that give engineers fast, safe, and predictable paths to ship code and operate services at scale.
What You'll Do
- Automate provisioning and lifecycle management for global bare metal fleets
- Build modern CI/CD pipelines that support fast and safe global deployments
- Design deployment, tracing, and observability workflows used by every engineering team
- Improve reliability, performance, and developer experience at the platform layer
- Partner with performance teams on scaling, resilience, and low-latency infra work
- Own foundational systems end-to-end and keep them simple, reliable, and easy to operate
- 5+ years of experience operating large-scale infrastructure
- Strong programming skills and familiarity with modern infra tooling
- Understanding of hardware, operating systems, and networking
- Experience with CI/CD design, deployment pipelines, and production systems
- Comfort owning critical, high-reliability systems with minimal oversight
- Ability to think in systems, simplify complexity, and automate aggressively
- Experience with bare metal at scale
- Background in high-availability environments (e.g., AWS, Netflix, etc.)
- High-impact work: Your code will power applications used by millions across the Solana ecosystem, including Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom.
- Serious engineering: Build fast, reliable systems and user experiences across distributed infra, high-throughput backends, and modern frontend stacks.
