Job Description


What To Expect
The Real Estate Lead is responsible for managing Real Estate actvities within the DACH and Eastern Europe region, including acquisitions of new locations, management of existing locations and guidance to the regional team. This role will directly manage projects as well as the responsibility for direct reports and workloads.

The ideal candidate will have a real estate background to help develop a profitable portfolio of properties. The individual will also be responsible for the renewal, relocation and expansion of existing Service, Sales and Delivery locations.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership to motivate team members to meet projects goals, adhering to milestones
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and other market data to identify and prioritise key trade areas
  • Responsible for researching and anlysing sites within the regions
  • Visit and inspect prospect properties to determine suitability
  • Prepare site evaluation packages for leadership
  • Negotiate LOI and work letter, alongside external broker
  • Negotiate and review lease agreements, alongside external counsel
  • Understand zoning and licensing requeriements
  • Work closely with PMs, DMs and Finance teams, throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Negotiate tenant improvement allowance amounts from Landlords
  • Manage existing portfolio strategy, including renewing / terminating leases, acquiring parking spaces, negotiating bank gurantee returns etc
  • Provide regular reports to direct and stakeholder leadership teams


  • What You'll Bring

  • Degree in relevant area of study, or equivalent
  • Several years' experience in commercial brokerage or in-house position, ideally within the retail, commercial or industrial industry
  • Ideally previous experience within a people management position
  • Ability to gather, analyse and present demographic and financial data to ledership teams
  • Experience with planning and zoning, preferred
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English and German, preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 60%, and hold a clean driving license
