The Integrated Mission Systems division is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expert-level proficiency in Rust to lead the development of next-generation mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive adoption of Rust across embedded software development projects
- Lead integration and conversion of legacy systems into Rust-based solutions
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices for memory-safe Rust usage
- Develop implementation frameworks and coding standards for Rust projects
- Translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions for C5 and Cyber Solution Centers
π Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship with an Active DoD Secret Clearance (mandatory)
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience (Graduate degree preferred)
- 5+ years of Rust development with deep expertise in the language
- Strong background in C/C++ development and object-oriented design
