Job Description
Breva.dev is seeking a talented, motivated, and fast-learning Junior Software Engineer to join our expanding team. You will mainly work on WordPress development, custom features, performance optimization, and client projects. Additionally, you will support our internal product development efforts, including the development of future AI-powered tools and apps.
This is a great opportunity for a fresh top university graduate who wants to grow quickly, gain real-world experience across multiple projects, and work directly with senior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, integrations).
- Work on frontend and backend tasks related to client projects.
- Assist in building and improving our internal AI-powered applications and automation tools.
- Participate in the development of Breva.dev’s upcoming app and plugin ecosystem.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-quality work.-
- Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and ensure best practices in development.
- Learn continuously and bring fresh ideas to improve workflows and technical processes.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Basic experience (even academic or personal projects) with WordPress.
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL) and API integrations.
- Eagerness to learn modern development tools, including AI coding assistants, automation, and LLM-based workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
- Passion for web development, clean code, and building real products.
Nice to Have (Plus Points)
- Graduation from top universities in Iran or abroad.
- Experience building or customizing WordPress plugins.
- Knowledge of AI tools, prompt engineering, or API-based AI integrations.
