Role Overview

As HR Manager at Fixated, you will shape and operationalize the full people experience across a fast-scaling, acquisition-driven, fully remote organization. You’ll build the systems, processes, and rhythms that enable our teams to thrive, from recruiting and onboarding to performance, engagement, compliance, and culture. Serving as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, you will ensure our people operations run smoothly, consistently, and with a thoughtful, human-centered approach that supports Fixated’s rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding across all departments, ensuring a consistent, scalable, and high-quality people experience.

• Lead employee experience programs spanning engagement, recognition, communication, and retention, aligning initiatives with Fixated’s culture and values.

• Maintain and evolve HR policies, handbooks, and documentation while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and (when applicable) international employment regulations.

• Oversee benefits administration, HRIS workflows, and people-ops systems, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and improved employee support.

• Support and help operationalize performance reviews, compensation cycles, and career development frameworks, ensuring clarity, fairness, and alignment with business goals.

• Partner closely with leadership to strengthen culture, build connection, and drive cohesion in a fully remote, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles within high-growth or dynamic environments.

• Background supporting distributed or fully remote teams strongly preferred.

• Solid understanding of U.S. employment law, HR compliance, and best practices across multiple states.

• Skilled at balancing empathy with operational rigor—approachable, organized, and able to navigate sensitive situations with discretion.

• Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills with the ability to support employees and leaders across functions.

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Tools & Systems

• Proficiency with Gusto, Ease.com, LinkedIn, Slack, Google Workspace, and modern project management tools.

• Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms such as Gusto, BambooHR, or similar systems is a strong plus.

• Comfort evaluating and implementing tools to improve automation, streamline workflows, and support a distributed team.

Why Fixated

• Fully remote, people-first culture built on trust, autonomy, and collaboration.

• Opportunity to design and operationalize HR systems, processes, and compliance frameworks for a rapidly growing, multi-entity organization.

• Direct partnership with leadership to support and elevate an evolving, creative, high-performing workforce.

• A chance to shape the employee experience during a transformative stage of growth in the creator-economy space.
