Job Description


The Role


We are looking for an experienced Senior Freelance CRM & Email Marketing Manager to manage a portfolio of Klaviyo accounts. This is a flexible, results-driven role designed for a senior specialist who can step in, build, and optimize flows and campaigns without needing hand-holding.


You will be responsible for managing campaign calendars, building emails, flow logic, segmentation, and reporting for a selection of the brands in our portfolio. This is a freelance position starting at 4-8 hours per week, with the workload increasing over time as we scale.


You will need to be agile, communicative, and able to ramp up activity when required (e.g., during Black Friday or product launches).



Key responsibilities


  • Campaign Building: You will plan, build, and schedule weekly campaigns that align with brand goals.
  • Flow Architecture: Audit, build, and optimize core automation flows (Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win-back) to maximize revenue on autopilot.
  • Email Builds & Design: Construct high-quality emails using drag-and-drop editors or HTML. You must ensure all emails are mobile-responsive and on-brand.
  • Segmentation Strategy: Manage list health and segmentation. You will ensure the right message hits the right customer, maintaining high engagement and protecting deliverability.
  • Testing & Optimisation: A/B test subject lines, send times, and content layouts to continuously improve Open Rates and Click-Through Rates.
  • Pop-up & Data Capture: Manage sign-up forms to ensure steady list growth without disrupting the user experience.



About you


  • Platform Expert: You are a Klaviyo expert. You understand the technical side of flows, triggers, and conditional splits inside out.
  • E-com Experience: 3+ years of hands-on CRM experience specifically within e-commerce/DTC.
  • Deliverability Focus: You understand the importance of domain reputation and know how to keep our emails out of the spam folder.
  • Self-Managing: You are a true freelancer. You don’t need a manager to remind you to send a campaign; you own the schedule.
  • Adaptable: You can switch between different brand voices and aesthetics within the portfolio seamlessly.
