About the Role
Our client, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role will focus on building custom applications, automating workflows, and optimizing data-driven processes while integrating with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with a strong technical background in low-code development, governance best practices, and enterprise solution architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Development: Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Pages, Copilot Agents, and Power Automate flows to streamline business processes.
- SharePoint Integration: Extend SharePoint capabilities through Power Platform by building custom solutions, forms, and workflows.
- Dataverse & Data Management: Architect scalable data models in Dataverse, integrate external data sources, and optimize data security and governance.
- Automation & Efficiency: Build and optimize Power Automate flows to automate business processes and integrations with other Microsoft and third-party services.
- Customization & Extensibility: Utilize Power FX, JavaScript, and Power Automate expressions to create dynamic and user-friendly solutions.
- Security & Governance: Implement best practices for Power Platform governance, including security roles, data loss prevention (DLP), and application lifecycle management (ALM).
- Performance Optimization: Analyze existing solutions and improve efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that drive business value.
- Training & Documentation: Provide technical guidance, create documentation, and support knowledge transfer for citizen developers and end-users.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Expertise in SharePoint Online, including custom forms, data integration, and Power Platform solutions.
- Strong experience with Dataverse, SQL, Azure Functions, and API integrations.
- Proficiency in Power FX, JavaScript, and JSON for extending app functionality.
- Knowledge of Power Platform governance, ALM, security, and administration best practices.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions using agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and mentor junior developers.
