Global HR Operations Manager for Multinational IT Scale Up

Position Overview
We are looking for a Global HR Operations Manager to play a key role in managing and executing HR processes, systems, and compliance that support global HR operations. This role includes overseeing payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and local HR activities. The Global HR Operations Manager will work closely with employees and people managers, our executive team and external service providers to manage payroll and benefits for employees across over 20 countries. Reporting directly to the Global Head of HR , working within our small globally distributed HR Team and in alignment with our second Global HR Operations Manager, this role will also involve optimizing HR processes to improve service quality, efficiency, and employee experience.
We are a widely remote working global company with major representations in Germany, India, Bulgaria, UK and US. This job is offered with a remote contract and we accept applicants from Bulgaria (hybrid in Sofia Region possible), Poland and India (hybrid in Bangalore & Hyderabad possible).
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR processes for employees, Operational execution and HR administration through the full employee life cycle from Hire to Retire.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for Cumulocity’s employees, handling employee queries and communication
- Partner with local management and people leaders to create an engaging employee experience and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Manager Payroll submission, oversee payroll processing in collaboration with service providers for global payroll management.
- In conjunction with Service Providers, ensure accurate payroll delivery and compliance with local statutory requirements and company policies.
- Manage Benefits administration, employee enrolment, payout handling and benefits provider management incl. contract management.
- Support the development and implementation of global HR policies, adapting them for local compliance and cultural alignment. Conduct audits to ensure HR activities align with Cumulocity’s compliance standards and applicable laws.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience, including process definition, communication and employee documentation.
- Collaborate with the HR team and external partners to implement and optimize HR tools. Identify and implement opportunities for automation.
- Manage HR Projects, special initiative or implementations globally and locally
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in HR operations, payroll management, and compliance, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Proven experiences in Process Management, Process Improvement (relevant certifications are a plus, LeanSixSigma, Greenbelt)
- Strong knowledge of international labour laws and HR compliance requirements. Experiences with German and US markets is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and with remote teams. Ability to adapt working with Senior Leaders and Employees alike.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills with experience in HR reporting and metrics.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing HR projects, vendor management, and working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Technical Skills: Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Forms), HCM MidMarket Solutions (Process Administration, Configuration and Implementation)
