About the Role
We are seeking a Salesforce-focused Automation & Performance Tester to support large-scale enterprise Salesforce initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce system testing, end-to-end automation frameworks, and performance test design. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce clouds, automation tools, API testing, and performance tooling.
This role is fully remote but requires work during standard EST business hours and active participation in daily team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Automation & Functional Testing
- Develop automation test scripts from scratch for Salesforce Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud.
- Execute comprehensive regression test suites across UI, backend, integrations, and Salesforce components.
- Design and run functional, non-functional, and end-to-end test cases aligned with requirements.
Performance Testing
- Design performance test scenarios simulating real workloads.
- Execute performance/load tests and interpret real-time data visualizations in Performance Center.
- Identify system health, bottlenecks, and degradation under load.
Test Planning & Test Execution
- Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, and traceability documentation.
- Execute Test Plans across multiple integrated applications and APIs.
- Track, triage, and report defects using JIRA.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, Salesforce admins, business analysts, and project stakeholders.
- Participate actively in daily standups, planning sessions, and review meetings.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure alignment with test scenarios and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification (required).
- 5+ years of IT system testing experience, including Salesforce-specific testing.
Experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cucumber or similar BDD frameworks
- REST API testing
- Jenkins/GitHub integration
- • Hands-on experience with test automation for UI + API.
- • Strong performance testing experience and ability to interpret system behavior under load.
- • Expertise with JIRA and QA documentation best practices.
- • Must have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
Preferred
Experience working with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services).
Compensation
- $50–$58/hr (W-2)
- Final rate based on skills, certifications, and interview results.
