Overview

As a Product Designer, you will contribute to web and mobile application design projects, working closely with design leads to create high‑quality, user‑centered solutions. You will balance creative problem‑solving with the technical proficiency needed to execute clean, functional product UI. This role requires working confidently in Figma within an established design system, applying components, and supporting system‑wide consistency across responsive layouts.

Key Focus Areas

  • Figma System Application: Use Auto‑Layout, components, variable properties, and structured libraries to build scalable UI across a growing ecosystem.
  • Design System Contribution: Follow existing patterns and support incremental improvements.
  • User‑First Approach: Emphasize clarity, accessibility, and ease of use in all design work.
  • Responsive Product UI: Craft designs that adapt seamlessly across web and mobile.
  • Awareness of Trends: Stay informed on evolving product and UI design conventions.

Responsibilities

Design and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with design leads to develop layouts, components, and product UI flows for seamless development handoff.
  • Apply and contribute to reusable components across multiple design systems.
  • Help select and refine imagery, icons, and supporting assets.
  • Maintain high quality and consistency across all UI deliverables.

Research and Optimization

  • Reference UX direction, competitive research, and design trends to inform decisions.
  • Ensure designs meet usability and accessibility WCAG standards.
  • Support workflow improvements and day‑to‑day design needs.

Client Presentation

  • Assist in preparing mockups, prototypes, and presentation materials.
  • Clearly articulate design rationale in internal and client‑facing settings.
  • Comfortable designing live in Figma during client or stakeholder working sessions to explore ideas, clarify feedback, or demonstrate proposed solutions in real time.

Skills And Mindset

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
  • Passion for clean product design and continuous system and file improvements.
  • Comfortable learning new tools and workflows.
  • Able to work quickly and deliver fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Experience

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong UI design work and product thinking.
  • Familiarity working within a design system foundation or shared component library.
  • Understanding of responsive and modern web design principles.
  • Exposure to mobile UI design fundamentals.
  • Ability to prepare clean, client‑ready design deliverables.

Tools

  • Proficiency in Figma (moderate-advanced).
  • Adobe Creative Cloud or Sketch experience is helpful but not required.

Nice To Have / Bonus Experience

  • Mobile app design experience.
  • Basic prototyping skills in Figma.
  • Understanding of UX flows, IA, or system mapping.
  • Light motion or animation experience.

Compensation Range: $73,080 - $91,350 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
