Are you a driven, hands-on Marketing Manager ready to make your mark in a fast-growing tech start-up? This is a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated marketing hire and build the entire marketing function from the ground up.
We’re recruiting on behalf of a scaling technology company entering an exciting phase of growth. With a current team of seven and ambitious plans for 2026, they are looking for a strategic yet scrappy marketer who can take ownership, create momentum, and elevate their brand to the next level.
The Opportunity
As the company’s first marketing hire, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the business shows up in the market. You’ll work closely with the leadership team and external marketing/PR partners to craft the strategy, execute campaigns, and build a strong lead-generation engine.
This is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, loves autonomy, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things moving.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute the overall marketing strategy for 2026 and beyond
- Develop brand awareness and position the company as a standout market leader
- Drive targeted lead-generation campaigns across digital channels
- Manage relationships with external marketing, PR, and creative agencies
- Oversee content creation, campaign management, and performance tracking
- Lay the foundations for marketing operations that can scale globally
- Contribute ideas, challenge thinking, and take full ownership of marketing delivery
- As the business grows, build and lead a global marketing team (USA & EMEA focus)
What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter with strong experience in B2B marketing (tech or SaaS ideal, but not essential)
- Someone who thrives in a startup or scale-up environment
- Strong digital marketing and lead-generation expertise
- Confident working with external agencies and managing multiple workstreams
- Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution
- A natural hustler — proactive, creative, and able to move fast
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
