A small, high-growth medical device company is adding a Product Marketing Manager role to their team. They have a global footprint and a Bay Area headquarters. They’ve experienced strong YOY growth the last few years and are stable and well-resourced. Their company culture is known for its collaborative workstyle, with a strong emphasis on coaching and growth. This culture has created an environment where the average employee tenure is well over 10 years.


They are growing and are expanding their strategic marketing team with a newly created marketing role. In this role, you’ll drive adoption in the US and other global regions for a market leading portfolio.


The Opportunity:

In this newly created Senior Product Manager or Product Manager role, you will develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to drive commercial adoption. You’ll develop branding, positioning and messaging as well as creating collateral materials. You’ll develop surgeon KOLs and educate customers and the sales team on the portfolio’s benefits and features. You will also gather commercial data to track portfolio growth and competitive intelligence for the segment.


Strong presentation skills and executive presence are a must for this position, you will be routinely presenting to executive leadership. The team is small and there’s much to define. If you enjoy building and expanding marketing programs with a broad influence, this role might be a good fit for you. You will partner closely with leadership as you consider how to best support the rapidly growing commercial footprint. You’ll work in cross-functional teams with marketing, sales, medical affairs, regulatory and other departments.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years marketing experience in medical device
  • Downstream marketing experience with a surgical product
  • A bachelor’s degree or better is required, MBA is preferred
  • This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a hybrid in office/work from home setup. Relocation assistance is available.
