PSG has partnered with one of San Diego's top biotech companies looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team! This role focuses on HRIS updates, onboarding/offboarding, I-9 compliance, data integrity, and general employee support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the HRIS (Workday), including employee changes, reports, and data audits
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely communication and documentation
• Manage I-9 and E-Verify processes and ensure ongoing compliance
• Prepare and maintain org charts and personnel documents
• Assist HR Business Partners with employee changes, termination packets, and file management
• Maintain employment records, wage notices, and state/federal postings
• Support annual review and compensation update processes
• Provide employment verifications and prepare needed HR letters
• Help with immigration file upkeep and coordination of relocation or tuition reimbursement items
• Handle general HR inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Human Resources experience; AA degree or higher preferred
• Workday HRIS experience required
• Strong understanding of I-9 requirements and employment regulations
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
