Product Manager:
Our client is seeking a Product Manager to guide the strategy, development, and successful delivery of a core digital product. This role will champion product vision, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure each release aligns with business priorities, customer needs, and measurable outcomes.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must be located in the Portland Oregon Metro Area or the Phoenix Arizona Metro Area.
Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy, roadmap definition, and prioritization across assigned product areas.
- Manage digital product planning from concept through release, including defining features, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
- Conduct ROI analyses and leverage analytics to support data-driven decisions and evaluate product performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Client Services, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and UX/UI to align on needs, scope, and delivery expectations.
- Work closely with software engineering throughout requirements definition, sprint planning, and feature execution.
- Perform market, competitor, and third-party platform research to assess opportunities, risks, and potential partnerships.
- Evaluate product usability and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and adoption.
- Support go-to-market planning, including launch messaging, collateral, sales enablement tools, and internal/external product communication.
- Train internal teams and clients on new features, workflows, and product enhancements.
- Monitor product KPIs, track outcomes, and provide insights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Maintain thorough documentation of product requirements, feature specifications, and roadmaps.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine processes based on customer decision journeys and feedback trends.
Product Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end ownership of a digital or SaaS product.
- Demonstrated experience serving external customers in a Software Product Manager capacity.
- Background in software technology or development environments, ideally 3–5 years.
- Ability to evaluate business cases, perform ROI assessments, and define key product metrics.
- Proven success bringing digital products or major enhancements to market in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytics fluency, including metric definition and data-driven storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and executive stakeholders.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and thrive in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with SaaS platforms and enterprise technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working directly with development teams.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical features into user-focused requirements.
- Quick learner with a strategic mindset and a passion for creating customer-centric product experiences.
Preferred:
- Training or experience in usability, interaction design, or UX practices.
- Familiarity with legal, compliance-driven, or professional services software.
