Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (+ bonus)

We are looking to recruit a Product Owner for a leading software company who specialise in EPoS, payment, and cashless solutions.

This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that sits at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery. You'll work closely with development teams, sales colleagues, and customers to ensure software solutions meet user needs and commercial objectives.

This is a remote role with UK travel as and when required for team meetings and customer workshops (likely once or twice a month).

Atlassian Jira experience is highly desirable because the team uses it extensively to manage development requests, track requirements, and organise workflows, so the ability to maintain and structure tasks effectively will be a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse, and prioritise requirements from internal teams, customers, and third-party partners.
  • Run workshops, interviews, and product walkthroughs to capture business needs.
  • Translate requirements into development requests and documentation (often via Jira).
  • Support software releases through testing, documentation, training, and customer engagement.
  • Assist sales teams with product demonstrations and collateral.
  • Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing across the business.

Skills & Experience:

  • 1+ year experience in a business analysis, product, or requirements-focused role.
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels, including end users.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
  • Agile or Scrum experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency essential; software design/UX experience is a plus.

Personal Attributes:

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
  • Commercially aware, able to balance feasibility and risk.
  • Collaborative, confident, and customer-focused.
