L1 Service Desk Analyst

Location: Remote (Work From Home), Europe

Employment Type: Contract, 6 months (extendable)

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced L1 Service Desk Analysts fluent in Flemish + English or Dutch + English to provide first-line IT support for end users across Europe. This is a fully remote role with rotational 24x7 shifts, including weekends. Candidates will be the first point of contact for IT incidents, providing timely and effective resolutions while ensuring a high-quality end-user experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 Service Desk support via voice calls, emails, and chat; log tickets in Jira ITSM with full details
  • Troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware (desktops/laptops), Windows OS, mobile devices, printers, and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Perform Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365 application troubleshooting
  • Escalate unresolved issues to deskside support or IT infrastructure teams as appropriate
  • Maintain accountability for meeting service levels and ensuring end-user satisfaction
  • Participate in 24x7 rotational shifts, including weekends


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in L1 Service Desk or similar roles
  • Fluency in Flemish + English or Dutch + English
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, printer troubleshooting, and desktop support
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills


Optional / Advantageous

  • Experience supporting end users across multiple countries in Europe
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Jira
