Full-Time | Fashion/Beauty Industry | 5+ Years Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative, strategic, and results-driven Head of Social Media to lead and elevate our social presence across all major platforms. This role is ideally suited for someone with deep experience in the fashion or beauty industry and a strong understanding of storytelling within a founder-led brand environment. As a remote leader, you will be responsible for shaping our brand narrative, scaling our social footprint, and building a world-class content, community, and influencer ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-platform social media strategy aligned with the brand’s vision, product roadmap, and business goals—ensuring the founder’s voice and storytelling remain central.
  • Lead the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation and creative direction to production oversight and publishing, ensuring all content reflects industry trends and brand standards.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing social media team, partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, PR, and E-commerce to ensure aligned, cohesive brand communication.
  • Identify, negotiate, and oversee influencer and creator partnerships, cultivating long-term relationships with talent who strongly reflect the brand and founder-led ethos.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across all social channels; translate insights into actionable strategies for engagement, growth, and conversion.
  • Oversee community management to maintain timely interactions, high engagement, and positive brand sentiment, while utilizing social listening practices to identify opportunities and emerging issues.
  • Lead social-first campaigns for product launches, brand moments, collaborations, and event activations, ensuring alignment with paid, PR, retail, and experiential marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of social media experience in the fashion or beauty industry, ideally within a founder-led or high-growth brand.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and scale impactful social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong creative vision with experience directing high-quality content that aligns with brand identity and cultural relevance.
  • Deep knowledge of influencer and creator ecosystems, with experience managing and negotiating partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in social measurement and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive alignment across teams.
