We are looking for an analytical and innovative Data Scientist to join our remote team in Australia. In this role, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics
- Analyse structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define analytical solutions
- Prepare data pipelines, clean datasets, and validate model performance
- Communicate insights through visualizations, dashboards, and presentations
- Conduct experiments and A/B testing to support product and business strategy
- Document methodologies, findings, and best practices
- Continuously explore new tools, techniques, and approaches to improve data capability
- 2–4 years of experience in data science, data analytics, or machine learning
- Strong proficiency in Python or R
- Solid understanding of statistics, modeling techniques, and data manipulation
- Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with SQL and working with large datasets
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment
- Must be based in Australia with full working rights
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Background in experimentation, forecasting, or NLP
