Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about Ally Dealership Insurance, while connecting knowledge of the business, systems, and cloud-based tools. The role will be responsible for data quality measurement, data aggregation and data visualization.

The Work Itself

  • Provide analytical and data support for monitoring business objectives and KPI's
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor business and sales performance
  • Perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis within assigned deadlines
  • Maintain code and control processes to ensure accuracy of the data
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and quickly provide results and recommendations
  • Apply balanced judgment in interpretation of data
  • Craft engaging data-driven business insights to influence decision-makers
  • Maintaining documentation of key processes and controls

Skills

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a preference in a in related field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or Economics), Masters preferred
  • 1-2 years of data, financial or business analytics experience preferred
  • Strong Power BI skills preferred or data visualization equivalent
  • Ability to work, problem solve and trouble shoot independently
  • Great communications skills (written and oral)
  • Basic technical aptitude, can run and maintain code, troubleshoot and correct
  • SQL programming skills required
  • Advanced Excel and/or analysis software skills
  • Ability to self-audit and check work prior to distribution
  • Prioritizes day-to-day tasks with longer-term projects while communicating with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Base Pay Range: $55000 - $95000 USD

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
